KAMPALA- Sanyu FM’s chief Executive Officer Sudhir Ruparelia has sacked the entire Radio station workers in a bid to end the impasse that has lasted for almost 4 days now.
For days now, Sanyu FM workers had laid down their tools demonstrating the 25% salary Cut by the Company.
Information reaching us now indicates that the Radio has already replaced the morning show hosts with Comedian Patrick Salvador in the current wave of reshuffle.
The man from Ombokollo has promised to bring magic to the station’s Breakfast Show that runs from 6 to 10:00 am from Monday to Friday with effect from Thursday June 11th 2020.
Sanyu FM with a great fan base for its social programs is one of the leading Radio stations in the capital Kampala making it it one of the commercial stations in the area of its broadcast.
The 88.2 Fm Station is currently on Speed looking for new hosts of the different programs on the station.

The sacked employees, however, accuse management of failure to listen to their demands whenever they are raised.
“Our bosses are so disconnected from realties of their employees’ plight,” one of them was heard explaining to a reporter from another media house names withheld.
However, the group’s Managing Director Rajiv Ruparelia, alleges that they nit fired anyone but rather the staff decided to abandon work over a proposal to reduce their monthly salaries by 25% in order to keep afloat with the new normal caused by CODIV-19 pandemic.
