Christians urged to reconcile with enemies as Christ is Crucified

KABALE– The Bishop of the diocese of Kigezi Rt. Rev. Eng. George Bagamuhunda has asked Christians to commit their lives to Jesus Christ so as to be forgiven and have everlasting life.

Bishop Bagamuhunda made the remark today while delivering a good Friday message at All saint’s church in Kabale Municipality.

Good Friday is a Christian holiday commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus and his death at the cavalry.

It is observed during Holy week as part of the paschal triduum on the Friday preceding Easter Sunday, and may coincide with the Jewish observance of Passover. It is also known as Holy Friday, Great Friday, Great and Holy Friday (also Holy and Great Friday), and Black Friday.

Bishop Bagamuhunda called upon the Christians to forgive each other in reconciliation with Jesus Christ as he resurrects.

He has also asked God to forgive Christians for they do not know what they do sometimes.

He reminded them that Jesus is the only way to cleanse all the burdens in preparation to eternity.

The Bishop further asked believers to stand on truth and follow Jesus Christ’s teachings if they are to be allowed in heaven gates after demise.
