KABALE– A total of 221 graduands are expected to receive their certificates having successfully completed their studies at Rugarama School of Nursing and Midwifery.
Ms Atuheire Allen Catherine the School’s Principal wants each graduand to come along with a parent in order to maintain standard operating procedures while at the ceremony.
Atuheire was addressing a press conference at the institution’s grounds, at Rugarama hill in Kabale Municipality ahead of their 3rd graduation.
The ceremony is slated to take tomorrow Friday April 9th 2021 at the diocese of Kigezi convention ground.
Atuheire says that among the graduands, 120 are Nurses while 101 are midwives with 18 boys and 203 girls who sat for the November 2017 to December 2020 examinations.
She however called upon the public expected at the function to observe the Ministry of Health standard operating procedures like hand washing, sanitizing and putting on face masks in order to curb the spread of COVID-19.

“Among these graduands, we we’re blessed to have five overall best performers including two nurses and three midwives” Said Atuheire.
The school expects Hon. Manzi Tumubwiine the former Rukiga county Legislator to be chief guest.
