Good Samaritan – Uganda Donates Text Books to Kabale Schools


KABALE– Good Samaritan -Uganda, a Community Based Organisation located  in Kabale District South Western Uganda has donated text books worth over Ugx 45 million to various schools in Kabale District.

The beneficiary schools include Excel High School, St.Paul’s Seminary Rushorooza, Little Angels Primary School, Open Hearts Community Project, Kabale Techinical Institute, IBH Kagoma Business and Techinical Institute  Kabale and Uganda Government Prisons Ndorwa.

The books were handed over by the Directors of Good Samaritan – Uganda  Mr. Rwaboona Kennedy and Mrs Musimenta Chrispine Rwaboona together with other members of Good Samaritan- Uganda staff.

The donation aimed at promoting education and skills among the youths in Kabale District as well as encouraging the reading culture were donated during the month of April and early May.

According to Mrs Musimenta Chrispine, the organisation is also undertaking  other activities in areas of Environmental conservation,  promotion of sustainable  agriculture and food security among others.

On tree planting, the organization has already planted more than 600 trees on the land that was donated to them by Dr. Runumi Francis in Kitumba, southern Division of Kabale Municipality.
