President Museveni dissoloves Cabinet ahead of swearing in

KAMPALA– President Yoweri Museveni has today May 3rd 2021 dissolved his cabinet ahead of the naming of a new one after his inauguration on May 12th 2021 at Kololo ceremonial grounds in Kampala.

According to the Senior Presidential  Press Secretary, Linda Nabusayi Wamboka, President  Museveni today held the last 2016-2021 cabinet business meeting and formally dissolved cabinet at State House Entebbe.

The President Elect on behalf of National Resistance Movement thanked the Cabinet Ministers collectively and individually for serving their country for the last five years.

According to Nabusayi, the president later served dinner to the Ministers  which was termed as the 2016 – 2021 last supper.

It should also be remembered that President Museveni has not reshuffled his cabinet since December 2019.

After swearing in on May 12th 2021, President Museveni is expected to name new cabinet Ministers where new faces are expected to come on board.
