MUST student dies after falling in bathroom at guardians place

MBARARA– Oscar Esele a student at Mbarara University of Science and Technology is no more and is confirmed dead after falling at his guardian’s place in Kampala on Tuesday.

According to information shared on the university’s social media platforms, Esele Reg No. 2019/PHS/027/PS was reported sick two weeks ago.

It is said that he was treated from Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital and later discharged last Friday after requesting to go home for further management. 

He however passed on yesterday shortly after being rushed to a nearby clinic following the terrible bathroom fall.

The fallen MUST student will be buried today 12th May in Agangam village, Kolir sub-county, Bukedea District.

“Mbarara University of Science and Technology regrets to announce the death of a student, the late Oscar Esele Reg No. 2019/PHS/027/PS, which occurred this morning at his guardians home in Kampala. The late Oscar was reported to have fallen sick two weeks ago and was treated at MRRH and discharged. He sought to go home last Friday for further management” part of MUST official page reads. 

“He is reported to have fallen in the bathroom this morning and was pronounced dead upon being rushed to a nearby clinic. Burial takes place tomorrow, 12th May 2021, at Agangam village, Kolir sub-county, Bukedea District.” it added.
