KAMPALA– Ugandans especially supporters of Change royal to the National Unity Platform President Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine will now wait for what the next party’s move is.

His party sympathizers have been so hopefully in the Tajjalayila campaign but it seems to have hit a dead end after the man is finally sworn in.

NUP had declared today a national day pf prayer and fasting for the country, as President Museveni swears-in for the sixth elected term in power.

Joel Ssenyonyi the party spokesperson also the new elected Nakawa East constituency on Tuesday told the press that they had declared Wednesday a day of prayers and fasting, to seek God’s intervention for this country that is covered by actions of human rights abuses, extra judicial killings, and bad governance.

Most Ugandans have since changed the slogan from “Tajjalayila” meaning he won’t be sworn in to “ajjalayila naye tagenda ffuga” literally meaning that he will be sworn in but won’t lead Uganda.

Museveni took his oaths on Wednesday May 12th at the Kololo Independence grounds in a function witnessed by several Heads of state from across the world.

The oath was administered by the Chief Justice Alfonse Owiny Dollo who becomes the seventh Chief justice to administer the oath to Museveni.
