Cranes coach names 11 Man first team to face off Saudi Arabia

SPORT– The Uganda Cranes National team head coach Morley Byekwaso has named the first team squad to play Saudi Arabia’s National team “The Falcons”.

The Uganda Cranes is to play the Falcons in the first friendly match today at 7:15pm.

According to Byakwaso, the Cranes will be lined up with Charles Lukwago (GK), Enock walusimbi (C),  Aziz Kayondo, Musa Ramathan, Peter Magambo, Bobisi Byaruhanga, Steven Sserwadda, Saidi Kyeyune, Isma Mugurusi, Richard Basangwa, Steven Mukwala.

While Hassan Matovu, Eric Kibowa, George kaddu, Najib Yoga, Bright Anukani, Karlm watambara, Samuel Ssenyonyi,  Derrick Kakooza, Abdallah Salim, Julius poloto Kenneth Semakula, Sadam masereka are on as substitute players.

Uganda Cranes travelling contingent of 25 players and 10 officials landed in Saudi Arabia yesterday morning ahead of the two friendly matches.

Uganda Cranes National team had their first and last training yesterday evening at Prince Faisal Bin Fahad stadium.

Uganda Cranes is slated to play The Falcons in a second friendly match game on 5th July 2021 in preparation for forthcoming CECAFA challenge cup in Ethiopia and 2022 Word Cup Qualifiers due in September 2021.
