Bishop Barham University Alumni donate 60 lecture room chairs to the University

KABALE– The Kigezi diocesan Bishop Rt. Rev. Eng. George Bagamuhunda, who is also the patron of Uganda Christian University/Bishop Barham University Collage Alumni association, has asked the members to continue and keep up the spirit of nurturing the students and aid the university through different ways.

In his message read by Patrick Tushabomwe, the president Uganda Christian University- Bishop Barham University college Kabale alumni association, Bishop Bagamuhunda thanked all the alumni for the heart of giving back to the university that nurtured them into what they are now.

Tushabomwe said all this in a Scientific function held inside the University multipurpose hall while handing over a donation of 60 lecture room chairs worth Ugx 6M to the university administration.

Tushabomwe thanked both alumni from Uganda Christian University and Bishop Barham University college as well for their contribution towards aiding learning at Bishop Barham University college.

He further called upon the rest of the alumni not to despise what they have but rather join hands together towards developing the university.

Aggrey Yesigomwe the acting principal of Bishop Barham University college hailed the alumni through their president for donating chairs in remembrance of where they passed through.

He asked all the alumni to continue adhering to what they were taught during the course of their studies while at the university.

During the first phase of lockdown the alumni association donated food relief worth UGX 1M to international students who were stranded at the university.

The alumni team has on several graduation ceremonies continued to award the best performers with different gifts.
