Rukiga District Woman MP confirms availability on 2026/31 ballot paper


RUKIGA– The Rukiga district Woman Member of parliament Hon Kamusiime Caroline has revealed that she is very interested in serving her voters even after the current term.

Hon Kamusiime was speaking to our reporter in an exclusive interview on Tuesday 10th August 2021 after donating supportive items that included maize flour, maize seeds and hospital beds worth Ugx 80M to the Rukiga district covid-19 taskforce at Rwamucucu sub county headquarters.

Hon Kamusiime said if a leader is capable of delivering what the electorates want; they can always vote them back to power promising that she can’t neglect his people if they trust her with votes once more.

“Iam here and still capable of working for my peopl. Am in my second term and let me assure my people that even next term I will be with them because we need to make Rukiga a model District” She explained.

Hon Kamusiime revealed that she is following the matter where the government promised to tarmac Muhanga-Kisizi road stressing that this will soon be fulfilled.

On the issue of the District lacking a hospital, she said the Ministry of health and other stakeholders already know about this matter because she started persuading it in 2017 and it’s already in process.

The legislator has been the Rukiga district Woman Member of Parliament since 2017 when it was annexed from Kabale district.
