KISORO– A 45-year-old married woman from Kabuga cell in Nyakabande Sub County of Kisoro District has been expelled from the village for committing adultery with a UPDF officer.

The village meeting reached this resolution after it emerged that Felesita Ngendahimana has on several occasions had sexual intercourse outside her wedlock.

Felesita is married to Phillip Ngendahimana who works in Kampala and the couple has five children.

Trouble started when Ngendahimana invited a yet to be identified UPDF officer into her marital bedroom the act that never went well with her children.

The children tipped off the neighbors who ascended on the couple until they were rescued a team of UPDF officers from Nyakabande barracks.

In a village meeting held on Wednesday morning at Kabuga trading center led by the area village chairperson Rudahunga Agustin resolved to expel the suspect from the village after deep consultation with her husband who works in Kampala.

Also expelled from the village is Dushime Ancilla 24 who operates a bar at Kabuga trading center whom they accuse of conniving with Felesita to lure UPDF personnel to Kabuga trading center and end up distablising their area.

Area Chairperson Rudahunga said that he couldn’t go against residents’ decision of expelling the duo suspects from the area over the accusations. He advised married couples to remain faithful to their loved ones as a way of reducing domestic violence in the area.

Kabuga women committee chairperson, Vereriya Nyirabaganda said it’s unfortunate that Ngendahimana has been committing adultery with the UPDF officers in presence of her children until Wednesday morning at around 2:30 am when luck run out of her hand.

The children of the suspect said that their mother always returns home from bars late in the night with men. They demand that she goes to her parents’ home until she changes her ways.

However, the suspect Ngendahimana denied the allegations and vowed not to leave her family and children before her husband returns home.
