KAMPALA– As Uganda gears up for it’s 59th independence , NTV’s Dance party in conjunction with longtime partners Smirnoff is set to turn the party upside down this Saturday 9th October.
The weekend fiesta, NTV Dance party has edged past all others and established itself as the official Saturday night “proggie” in the land.
In March last year 2020, when happening places where closed due to COVID- 19 and the parties could not be attended like before, the “Dance Party” brought the real groove experience to every living room in the country without flouting any Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
This Saturday Dance Party will be special and dedicated to celebrating Uganda’s musical heritage through the years. The usual trio hosts Lynda Dane, Crysto Panda and Esco MC will take the night away alongside the A- game scratches from Kampala’s finest Deejays such as ; Ciza, Pito, Baby Love and Mark Rebel.
It will be strictly a black-yellow-red affair representing the National colors and fans will be treated to lots of Smirnoff giveaways in the spirit of turning up the taste.
To spice up the night, the lineup will have special guest appearances from some of Uganda’s finest entertainers who will perform alongside the night’s deejays to commemorate Uganda’s 59th birthday.
The NTV Dance party is a lockdown innovation that brings the Saturday night vibe to the comfort of everyone’s living room throwing away the worries of curfew among others.
Besides the DJ mixes and performances, there are always live bartenders showcasing different Smirnoff cocktails that people can make at home.
The show airs on NTV every Saturday night from 10pm until late under the stewardship of live television’s finest stewards.
