Tumwijukye, said the district discovered that a number of employees used fake documents to access government payrolls something he says dilutes the Education standards in the country.

The Kabale district Principal Human resource officer, Jacenta Tushabomwe, said all the affected teachers are required to hand in their files containing appointments, posting, confirmation letters and academic documents, Education service commission number among others documents.

Tushabomwe, said that all teachers have been given up to the end of October to have submitted the required documents or else, they risk missing the October salary.

A senior auditor in the office of the auditor general’s office, Andrew Ahumuza, told our reporter that the intension for all teachers to have their documents in the office of Principal human resource officer is to track the ghost workers, who have been accessing the district’s payrolls illegally.
