FUFA hands Kaddu 2 months football ban, Ugx 1M fine

SPORT– The Federation of Uganda Football Association FUFA has handed Wakiso Giants FC player George Kaddu a two month suspension from participating in all football matches and also fined him Ugx 1M over indiscipline.

FUFA accuses Kaddu of putting the game into disrepute when he attacked the referee, slapped his cards and delayed to leave the field of play upon send off as Wakiso Griants FC battled Vipers SC last Friday 22nd October 2021 in Uganda Premier League.

The Federation of Uganda Football Association FUFA Competitions Disciplinary Panel also fined Wakiso Giants FC official Philip Mugabi Ugx 500,000 over what they called breaching of the FUFA Competitions rules.

FUFA accused Mugabi of using abusive language on his social media account during the same match.

The day’s match ended in a 5-0 thriving win in favour of Vipers FC.
