KABALE– The 2nd Division Commander in the Uganda People’s Défense Force, Major General Francis Takirwa has rallied the youths to avoid being used by people who intend to achieve their personal foreign gains.

Takirwa was speaking on Sunday evening at St Mary’s College at the closure of a two-day Patriotism development workshop that was attended by Guild leaders from Kabale and Bishop Barham Universities in Kabale Municipality.

The workshop was intended at training the participants about financial literacy and how to be good patriots as well as sharpening them on political leadership.

He added that some youths are used by opposition leaders to promote them with support from other foreign Countries with the intention of misleading fellows to get their personnel benefits, leaving such youths poor.

Takirwa advised them to always be vigilant and differentiate bad from good ideas by being patriots.
