RUKIGA– The Bishop of the Diocese of Kigezi Rt. Rev. Eng. George Bagamuhunda on Wednesday 24th November 2021 confirmed 293 Christians into the Anglican faith at Kyogo church of Uganda parish in Buhangizi Archdeaconry, Kamwezi Sub-county in Rukiga district.
Among the confirmants, 168 were from Kyogo church of Uganda and 123 from Nyakihanga church of Uganda parish.
On the same day, the bishop confirmed 313 Christians from Rwenyonza church of Uganda and Buhangizi Archdeaconry in a service held at Buhangizi Archdeaconry.
Reading the gospel according to St. John 10, Bishop Bagamuhunda said that a good shepherd grazes in his farm noting that those who have ever grazed know it that a farm has an end point.
He added that good shepherds know how everything is done asking confirmants to know the boundary and customs of Anglican faith.

Bagamuhunda condemned the acts of Satan among Christians where he argued for them to boldly stick to the word of God, repent their sins, join church fellowships and have love for one another if they are to enter the kingdom of God.

Preaching the gospel according to St. John 2: 10, Rev. Daniel Byamukama the diocesan missions coordinator reminded confirmants to be truthful Christians asking them to deeply keep thinking about God, read his word and fellowship with others.
