Prime minister Nabbanja suspends forceful vaccination on road blocks in the country

NEWS– The Prime Minister of Uganda Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja has suspended all on going forced vaccinations on road blocks in the country with immediate effect.

The Prime Minister’s intervention follows the mounting of several road blocks in the country and passengers being forced to get vaccinated without adhering to the set guidelines.

All these come at a time when the country has already been hit by the third wave of the Coronavirus pandemic according to Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng the Minister of Health.

Reports also indicate that many Ugandans have resorted to buying COVID-19 vaccination cards other than going for vaccination as a measure to beat the forced move on many roadblocks in the country.

Despite the third wave threats and the rapidly increasing cases of the virus President Museveni in his last address to the nation opened up the country’s economy with schools set to start operations on next week Monday 10th January 2022.
