President Museveni hails Mbarara Archdiocese for its Developmental Projects


NEWS– President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has hailed the leadership of Mbarara Archdiocese for it’s to start developmental projects that have transformed the lives of the christians in the Archdiocese.

The remarks by President Museveni were contained in a message delivered for him by the Prime Minister Rt Hon Robinah Nabbanja who represented the at Mbarara Catholic Archdiocese Golden jubilee and farewell to Archbishop Paul Kamuza Bakyenga.

The function was also used to welcome Archbishop Lambert Bainomugisha who takes up the mantle of leadership as Metropolitan Archbishop of Mbarara Ecclesiastical Province and launch of Cathedral renovation and construction of Archbishop’s house.

The President observed that Archbishop has been a pillar of many projects in the Archdiocese of Mbarara that included the establishment of health facilities and schools which have transformed the lives of the people.

The function was attended by the Government Chief Whip Hon Thomas Tayebwa, Ministers and several Members of Parliament from the Archdiocese.
