Kinkizi diocesan secretary tips couples on building marriage on God’s foundation


KANUNGU– Rev canon Kenneth Kanyakore the diocesan secretary of diocese of Kinkiizi in Kanungu district has asked couples to build their marriage on Godly foundation that never changes and respect their matrimonial agreements.

Kanyakore made the remark on Saturday during the holy matrimony ceremony of Levi and Pamera Twinamatsiko. The groom is a lay reader of Kancerere church of Uganda in Kanyatorongo Archdeaconry in the diocese of Kinkiizi.

Kanyakole noted that according to the Bible, marriage is a journey between a man and woman thus asking couples to always know that they have started a new journey until death separates them.

He also told them that marriage is full of disagreements, pain, poverty and wealth asking couples to build their marriage on a foundation of Jesus Christ’s love  in order to have a good marriage tenure.

The function was graced by Rev Daniel Buregyeya the Kancerere COU parish priest, Ven Wilson Twinomuhwezi the Archdeacon Kanyatorongo Archdeaconry both acting and retired clergy among others.
