NEWS– The Kisoro District Chairperson Abel Bizimana has called on all households in Kisoro Municipality to install security lights to combat the growing gangs of criminals who are terrorizing the town.

More than 20 people have so far been attacked and maimed while many others have been attacked and did not report the cases to Police.

The major hotspots for criminal gangs include Chahi, Karumena, Kisoro hill and Kisoro main.

This follows a recent attack on a Kisoro based radio personality at 5:30 am while he was going to his work place for the morning show but fought them and sustained minor injuries.

Bizimana says all houses in town for both business and residential must have security lights.

The Kisoro Resident District Commissioner Hajji Shafiq Sekandi says he is preparing to meet with all village and Parish Chairpersons together with their defence to discuss security matters.
