NRM Government commended for promoting freedom of Worship

NTUNGAMO- The NRM government has been commended for advocating and promoting freedom of peace and worship compared to the past regimes which were hinged on religious sects and tribalism.

According to the Ruhaama constituency Member of Parliament Hon Nkwatsibwe Henry Zinkuratiire NRM promoted the fundamental human rights where every Ugandan is free to belong to any religion.

Hon Zinkuratiire hailed the role being played by the religious leaders through spreading the gospel of salvation and poverty eradication at household level.

He made remarks on Sunday while delivering his pledge of vehicle for St John’s Rwenanuura church of Uganda parish South Ankole Diocese to ease the pastoral visits of the parish priest.

Hon Zinkuratiire thanked the priest and all Christians for the cooperation and asked them to use the parish vehicle UBG 342H Toyota wish for its intended purpose.

While receiving the vehicle together with all Christians, the parish priest St John’s Rwenanuura COU Rev Ndyabahika Fenekansi reminded all people to always donate and thank God for the gift of life.

Rev Ndyabahika thanked Hon Zinkuratiire for supporting the work of the Lord noting that there are few political leaders who fulfill their pledges to the church.

Present were Kananuura Goerge the head of laity, councilor Twinamatsiko Perez and councilor Tushemereirwe Enid among others.
