Parental Care Primary School Bushenyi pockets another debating competition trophy

FORTPORTAL– Barely a week after winning the Kigezi and Ankole Regions’ debating competitions, Parental Care Primary School Bushenyi has once again put their trophies’ cabin another debating competition trophy.

Themed “Your tax save the Country in a Minute”, the competition was organized by Rwenzori Debate Forum at Banyatereza Golden Jubilee Nursery and Primary School in Fort Portal City.

Parental Care Primary School were announced winners on Saturday after winning Green Circle Primary School from Fort Portal on final “Themed: Tax evasion is the main cause of underdevelopment”  in a competition that attracted more than 14 Schools.

Shortly after being declared the tournament winners, Yebazamukama Trevor the Parental Care Primary School Director, confided to the press that they have always worked hard to source and recruit competent teachers who are capable of showing the learners the right direction to such heights.

On top of sourcing and recruiting competent staff, Yebazamukama adds that they have always worked hard as Administrators to satisfy their welfare requirements so that they have zeal to ensure that learners are fully attended to all the time.

He added that the school invests in such events to equip learners with confidence not only to pass final exams but also to prepare them for future responsible citizens who can discuss issues and the way forward of the Country’s leadership.  

Parental Care Primary School is well known to have remained among the best five performing Schools for the Previous five consecutive years contrary to the widely held belief that top ranking schools are those based in the Kampala Metropolitan area.

The latest win is a motivation and Morale Boost to the learners who are soon representing the region at the National level having won the Debate that was organized by the National Debate Council and hosted by St Mary’s Vocational Secondary School in Kyamuhunga town council, Igara West County, Bushenyi district.

Other Schools that participated included Kinyamisika Primary schoolL, Lightstar primary schoolB, BanyaterezaGolden Jubilee Memorial Primary School, Green circle school, Light of Africa primary school, Burungu primary school, Green hill primary school and Moreau primary School.
