Poor state of Bushenyi roads irk users as Rainy season sets in

NEWS– Motorists in Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipality have protested the poor state of the road that connects Nyamiko, Ruhandagazi, Mazinga to Bushenyi town following this week’s downpour.

The motorists demonstrated the state of the road that was graded recently after which the Municipality officials poured Marrum which the motorists claim is slippery making the road impassable now just days after set off of rains.

Speaking to our reporter, Wilson Karuhanga the chairperson LC1 Nyakabirizi Division questioned the intention of the Municipal engineer in using such a poor quality murram on a road that is very busy and essential in generating income to the Municipality.

However, the municipal engineer Adam Banyenzaki, refuted allegations arguing that the Marrum used was standard attributing the challenge to the recent rains in the area.
