Museveni moves SFC Commander to UPDF 3rd Division

Gen Yoweri Kaguta Museveni the Commander in Chief of the UPDF

KAMPALA– President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who is also the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces has appointed Brig David Mugisha the new Commander of Special Forces Command to replace Brig Felix Busizoori who moves to the 3rd Division as a Commander. 

According to a press statement issued today August 4th 2022, afternoon and signed by the UPDF spokesperson Brig Felix Kulayigye, the transfers takes immediate effect. 

In the same min reshuffle, President Museveni sent Maj Gen Samuel Kawaga to the Ugandan Embassy in Nairobi as a Military Advisor while Brig Joseph Ssemwanga was appointed the Commander of the 1st Division, Kakiri.

President Museveni also promoted Lt Col Allan Masiko to the rank of Colonel while, Major Dancun Kafeero was promoted to Lt Colonel and Col Hebert Nabimanya was transferred from Special Forces Command to Land Forces.

On behalf of the UPDF,  Brig Gen Kulayigye welcomed and congratulated the officers and wished them the best in their new assignments.
