MP Kamuntu asks fellow Kigezi Region MPs to unite in pushing for their area’s agenda in Parliament

KABALE– The Rubanda West County member of Parliament Hon. Kamuntu Moses Mwongyera has called for unity among Members of Parliament from Kigezi subregion whenever there are Parliamentary sittings to raise matters of concern that can bring development in the area.

Hon. Kamuntu made the remarks over the weekend during the wedding ceremony of Kwarikunda Michael Mbareeba and Kiconco Elizabeth at Rose gardens in Nyabikoni Ward, Kabale Municipality.

The legislator said that lack of one voice by members of Parliament from Kigezi sub region during Parliamentary sittings to raise issues of concern affecting electorate in the area has left developments in the region lagging behind.
