NEWS– For the ardent lovers of reggae music, Saturday night was the perfect day for those who enjoy swanking vibes.

This was the fourth day of the Bayimba Festival that took place at their home at Lunkulu Islands in Mukono District.

The festival had two stages and the audience was first treated to live performances from legendary artistes that included;  Chance Nalubega and  Ragga Dee who blew the partiers to their full doze of old timers jams.

To my surprise, the  new generation  knew the lyrics of the songs which  implied they were in sync for the party.

After the solid performances from the duo, they later had to rave to the unending jams from the Mighty River Nile Sound that was on  Stage two and was led by Lady Slyke  on the Mic and DJ Nesta on the decks who are arguably the queen and King of reggae music in Uganda.

Lady Slyke  bombarded the revellers with her original songs and their  combination was indeed the talk of the night since it kept the audience awake and  kept dancing to the perfect reggae from the masters.

As the night wore out, DJ Abbey spiced up the groove  which just got better and better to the extent that the fans got on the stage and danced which meant they were the right audience for the gig because the enjoyment stretched to the wee hours.

This was the 14th edition of the Festival and had a lot of action- packed performances from Afrigo Band, Cindy Sanyu, Daddy Andre, Suuna Ben, Pallaso, Spice Diana, King Saha, DJ Shiru and others.
