Swahili Night at full throttle this weekend


KAMPALA- After a very eventful weekend that has been full of festivals, the Swahili night is around the corner this Saturday, September 24, to deliver a culinary treat for individuals, families, corporates and other lovers of special cuisine.

The two editions have created memorable experiences and it is one of the sole reasons the management of Protea Hotel has kept fort with their thoughtful brain child.

Its normally described as one plot for those that are willing to catch up, mingle, network with exceptional fun with those ready to enjoy the Swahili diverse culture and most importantly the food.

Ankur Pachal, general manager, Protea Marriot Kampala said that the idea which was embraced by his team is becoming the talk of the town for those who savor new experiences beyond the normal setting and he is glad that it is still rolling.

Solome Kagosha, one of the attendees noted that she was impressed from the word go because the ambience was decorated with their national colors ranging from red, green, black and white coupled with the real food that reminds her of her home.

When it comes to entertainment, the Legacy band 256 will be on set to perform a full rendition of great music that is matching with the theme.

The much anticipated evening that runs from 6pm to midnight has a cover charge of Ugx. 80,000 and Ugx. 40,000 for adults and kids respectively and a discount of 10 percent for guests.
