Sheema Municipality MP donates Pre-PLE Exams to constituency Schools


NEWS- Sheema Municipality Member of Parliament Hon. Dickson Kateshumbwa has donated Pre- PLE examinations to all primary Schools in the Constituency.

This according to him is a way of preparing candidates for their last exams and he donated them through “Sheema Development Foundation”.

The examination materials were delivered to School heads on 30th September 2022 during a meeting held at Sheema Development Foundation headquarters in Kabwohe town.  

Mr. John Kateshumbwa, the chairperson of the Education Advisory Committee in Sheema District who delivered the examination materials on behalf of the legislator and chaired the meeting, urged teachers to use the remaining period well to prepare learners for their last exams.

He further encouraged teachers and other school administrators to desist from acts of examination mal-practices that can lead to arrest of those involved and cancelation of results for the whole centre.

The MP also pledged to donate tree seedlings to schools in the Municipality in a way of ensuring a green environment, the donation he will be doing annually.

The senior inspector of schools Sheema Municipality Kishate Jonnie appreciated the fundamental contribution by area Legislator, which he says will help to sharpen candidates.

He promised to ensure proper monitoring of the Pre- PLE examination exercise which he said will be sat starting with Monday next week.   

According to the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) Time table, Primary seven candidates will commence with a briefing on Monday, November 7, 2022, and start their examinations with Mathematics on November 8, 2022, and the Social Studies paper in the afternoon.
