Bishop Akanjuna praises RDC Nyakahuma’s excellent service


KABALE– The Kigezi Diocesan Bishop Rt. Rev Gaddie Akanjuna has appreciated the Kabale Resident District Commissioner Godfrey Nyakahuma for his tremendous contribution towards the development of Kabale district and the whole country at large.

This was during the Bishop’s quick recovery prayerful message which was delivered to the RDC yesterday by the Diocesan secretary Rev Amos Twetise on behalf of the Bishop.

Godfrey Nyakahuma was admitted at Mbarara regional Referral hospital after sustaining injuries in an accident early this week as he drove his vehicle Reg No UG 4143C which was knocked from behind by another yet to be identified trailer along Ishaka-Kasese road at Rutoto hill, Omunkombe in Rubirizi district.

The Bishop observed that ever since the RDC joined Kabale district, alot of developmental things have been witnessed in terms of assuring security of people and their properties, monitoring government projects among many others and prayed for his quick recovery.

In his words Godfrey Nyakayuma thanked the Bishop of the Diocese of Kigezi for thinking about him even when he is bed ridden and assured the public that he is improving and hopes to get better soon.

The RDC also appreciates everyone who has so far spared time to check on him either physically or via the phone during these trying days stressing that this motivates him to serve beyond what he has been doing.The Diocesan secretary was accompanied by the Head of Laity of the Dioces of Kigezi Can.
