KAMPALA- Ministry of Health has today (Tuesday) May 5th 2020 confirmed 1 more coronavirus case from the total of 2,168 samples of truck drivers tested at the Uganda virus Research Institute.

According to the Ministry of Health, the New case is 27 year old trucker who entered the country from Kenya via Busia border.

The statement from the Ministry of health added that all 464 community samples tested negative for Coronavirus. This translates a total of 2,632 samples tested today.

The total number of Uganda’s confirmed Coronavirus cases stand at 98 with 55 recoveries and no death has yet been registered in the country from Coronavirus illness.
