Beyond belief! Bushenyi residents still in shock after their own son was arrested with a human head
Joseph Nuwashaba 22 who was nabbed with human head at Parliament

BUSHENYI- Residents of Kitooma, Kizinda ward in Kizinda-Kigoma Town council in Igara West Constituency Bushenyi District are still in shock after their own son was arrested at parliament with a human head which he allegedly wanted to deliver to the Speaker of Parliament Hon Alitwala Kadaga.

Joseph Nuwashaba 22, according to trusted sources is a resident of the same area and was on Monday 14th September 2020 arrested at the main gate of Parliament with a lifeless human body of a kid believed to be between 5-8 years. The suspect had wrapped the head in a box like a gift.

After investigations, the head has allegedly been identified and it belonged to Faith Kyamagero, a daughter of Mr Charles Senyonga a resident of Kimnya Kyabakuza division in Masaka city.

The suspect (Joseph) has been a casual laborer at Senyonga’s home until Sunday evening when he disappeared with the kid. The CID spokesperson, Mr Charles Twiine, said they will compare the DNA of the two body parts to establish whether they match.

According to some of the residents who never wanted their names to be mentioned, Joseph Nuwashanba is a son to Foogo Katabuziire, who had left home some time back to work in Mbarara district.

Residents say that he used to be a servant of Pastor Kayanja and most of them have attributed his deed to mystical powers surrounding the pastor-ship of Robert Kayanja of the Miracle Centre Cathedral in Kampala.

Robert Kayanja has for several times been accused by some fellow pastors and Christians of being a shady pastor who goes underground for spiritual powers and others refer to him as an illuminati pastor.

Others said Joseph is a criminal who is known for murdering people and applauded police for arresting him.

The incident happened on Monday 14th September 2020 before members of parliament returned from recess after the NRM Primaries.
