Coronavirus Alert: confirmed cases jump to 50 in Rwanda

    RWANDA- The Government of Rwanda has announced 9 cases of confirmed Coronavirus Pandemic bringing the total number of cases to 50.

    According to statement from the Rwanda Ministry of Health, the nine confirmed cases are mostly for people who arrived from abroad.

    The statement indicates 5 of the cases are of people who arrived from Dubai and were isolated on arrival in Kigali, while one case is of a person who arrived from America.

    Others are 2 people who had personal contact with previous cases who tested positive for Coronavirus and another one person returned from Netherlands. The Ministry statement however beseeches the citizens to continue guidelines put in place by the government through Ministry of Health in order to avoid its spread.
