KIGALI- A grenade blast in Rwanda’s district of Gasibo has claimed a life and wounded at least 11 people CP JB Kabera said in a statement on Thursday.
The explosions happened at around 1730hrs at a salon in Ndera sector Gasibo district.
The victim has been identified as Jean Paul Tunezerwe 25 a resident of Gasibo and a regular salon customer according to the eye witnesses.
“Preliminary investigation rules out acts of terrorism in the incident. Detailed investigations have started in order to ascertain the source of the grenade.” CP JB Kabera added in a statement.
