KAMPALA- Results from samples tested on Sunday June 21st 2020 have confirmed 4 new coronavirus cases hiking the country’s total infections to 774.
The Mionisterial statement shows that of the 4 new cases, 2 are truck drivers confirmed at Elegu and Malaba border posts from South Sudan and Kenya respectively.
Another 2 cases are part of the 2,224 samples from alerts and samples tested at the Uganda Virus Research Institute.
The country has as well registered 631 total coronavirus recoveries.
The two new cases include 1 from Kyetera and Amuru districts respectively.
Active cases on admission: 256 (143 are Ugandans, 113 are Foreigners)
