KAMPALA– The UPDF deputy spokesperson Let. Col. Deo Akiiki has issued a statement on the Nansana shooting indicating that a one Denis Awillo a UPDF officer involved in the shooting.
Akiiki says Awillo gunned down 2 LDU officers, 1 Uganda Police force officer and one Civilian and later was also killed making the total number five.
The tragedy happened this morning at Nansana, Ganda in Wakiso District.
Akiiki adds that investigation into the unfortunate incident have begun to ascertain what prompted the Junior non commissioned officer (JNCO) to shoot his colleagues.
He further promised the public to be given more details about the incident after thorough investigations.
